1. Who we are
TechnicallyWrite is operated by Biotech Mentor LLC, doing business as Sibling Dynamics (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy explains what personal information we collect when you use the TechnicallyWrite website, applications, and WordPress plugin (the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address, and business details (such as your industry and service area) when you sign up or configure your workspace.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We receive limited billing details and subscription status; we do not store your full card number.
- Content and inputs — the topics, keywords, writing samples, and drafts you create or provide, and the website URL you submit to the free “blog pulse” scanner.
- Connection details — if you connect WordPress, the credentials and site information needed to deliver drafts.
- Usage and technical data — log data such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken, which we use to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- Cookies — see the Cookies section below.
3. How we use your information
- to provide, maintain, and improve the Service and generate your drafts;
- to process payments and manage your subscription;
- to communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates;
- to secure the Service, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms; and
- to comply with legal obligations.
Where required by law, our processing relies on one or more legal bases: performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
4. How your content is processed by AI providers
To generate drafts, the content and inputs you provide are sent to and processed by third-party large-language-model providers acting on our behalf. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, confidential material, or anything you are not authorized to share as an input to the Service.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the Service — including Stripe (payments), our hosting and infrastructure provider, our AI/model provider, and our email and form providers — under obligations to protect it;
- for legal reasons — to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect the rights, safety, and property of our users, the public, or us; and
- in a business transfer — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case we will continue to protect your information.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to run the Service — for example, to keep you signed in and to protect forms and sessions from cross-site request forgery. We also store your cookie-consent choice locally in your browser so we don’t ask again on every visit. We do not use cookies for advertising, and we do not currently use third-party advertising trackers.
If we introduce optional analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent first. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service (such as signing in) from working.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, security, and dispute- resolution needs, after which we delete or anonymize it.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
We and our service providers may process your information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the EU/UK (under the GDPR/UK GDPR) and of U.S. states such as California (under the CCPA/CPRA) may have specific rights. To exercise a right, contact us using the details below; we will respond as required by applicable law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
11. Children’s privacy
The Service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
